Richard Hardy

Richard Hardy designs and makes furniture with a simple balance of good design, beautiful materials and quality craftsmanship. The result is practical furniture that improves everyday life.

People are at the heart of Richard’s creative process. We all have passions and eccentricities that drive us and define us. Richard’s designs tap into this individuality to create furniture that is personal and unique – pieces that enhance our homes and lives.

Every piece is made by hand using traditional tools and techniques, and by working sympathetically with natural materials. In a world where much is mass produced, the care, quality and integrity in his handmade furniture stands out.

In addition to his bespoke pieces, Richard launched a new range of custom furniture at Clerkenwell Design Week. Combining clean, contemporary design with the wild, natural beauty of timber, the range will consist of dining and living furniture available in a range of sizes, woods and finishes.

All of Richard’s furniture is designed and crafted in Somerset.
