Parlor Interiors is a full-service interior design studio working in both Los Angeles and Miami. They work closely with their clients to design-inspired spaces that are suited to the present while nodding toward the past and eyeing the future. Drawing on a broad knowledge of historic and contemporary design and architecture, their work is distinguished by the details and nuances that make any space feel elevated and unique.
Parlor Interiors guiding principle is that every environment they create should satisfy the practical needs of their clients while also inspiring them with a wide range of emotions that design can evoke: warmth, yes, but also mystery and mutability. Their ultimate goal is for their clients to walk away feeling that their space arouses feelings in a way that reflects them or their brand in earnest.
Taylor Anne Abess is a native to Southern California, a current resident of Miami, Florida, and spent over a decade in New York City, allowing her to position Parlor Interiors on two coasts so she could continue to explore the role of design in diverse urban geographies.
During Taylor’s tenure as the Founder and Creative Director of a multi-line fashion showroom in Soho, NYC, her focus was built through incubating and launching numerous emerging designers from 2004 to 2015. While the fashion industry satisfied Taylor’s affinity for the confluence of texture and line, her passion for interior design was at the core. She spent much of her childhood on project sites alongside her mother, who nurtured her interest in composition, layering, and space planning.

Over the past several years, Taylor has compiled a comprehensive portfolio featuring full home renovations, restorations, additions, new construction, and commercial/hospitality projects where Parlor Interiors was hired to spearhead all interior architecture and interior design.
