IMM Cologne, the international furnishing fair and interior Business event started two days ago! For those who haven’t had the change to go, don’t worry because we at Best Interior Designers are going to show what’s happening and what you are missing. This event is still happening until the 20th of January and it’s being held in Cologne, Germany! As always, the German tradeshow is filled with the most exceptional stands from hundreds of luxury brands and many activities regarding the future of living are also happening daily.

THE STANDS
This year’s edition counts with the presence of numerous luxury brands that are presenting their newest furniture pieces and design ideas.
Brabbu is a luxury furniture brand that tells you stories from nature and the world through materials and textures. Make sure you visit their stand at Hall 11.1 Stand: D 055, alongside three other innovative Portuguese brands: Boca do Lobo, and Maison Valentina. I can assure that you won’t be disappointed.
Delightfull is one of the top lighting brands that mark its presence at the event. Their creative designs are impressive and all of their pieces exhibit an outstanding quality that deserves to be appreciated. Visit DelightFULL’s booth at Hall 11.1 | Stand D003, and celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the brand with the team!
Poliform is an Italian luxury modern furniture brand, that offers high-quality furniture, closets, wall systems, and kitchens for any space. It provides custom made cabinetry for closets, bookcases, and kitchens. You can find them at Hall 11.1 – Stand E011, Do10 with an exhibition area designed to be a total living experience.
B&B Italia was founded in 1966 by Piero Ambrogio Busnelli and is one of the top leading Italian companies in the international world of interior design. Their stands are always a big attraction at any event, so make sure you’ll pass the B&B Italia stand.
Essential Home is an innovative mid-century modern furniture brand that takes important historical and cinematographic references from the 1930s and 1960s and turns them into unique furnishing pieces. Don’t forget to visit them at Hall 11.1 | Stand D003!
Roche Bobois is a world leader in furniture design and distribution. They offer premium-quality furniture, including sofas, armchairs, cocktail tables, dining chairs, sideboards, beds, wardrobes, storage and accessories including lighting, cushions, and rugs. Make sure you visit them!
DAS HAUS
This year’s edition, Imm cologne chose the Australian designer couple Truly Truly, who has captivated many in the design industry since their firm’s formation in 2014.
With the blank slate of a 600-square-foot booth, each year’s Das Haus designer determines the installation’s layout and structure while also choosing materials, colors, finishes, furniture, and accessories.
Studio Truly Truly developed its Das Haus installation, that’s on view until January 20, by delineating different areas based on various moods.
The Australian-born, Rotterdam-based duo developed the home concept around a central kitchen; the surrounding spaces easily transition from private to public functions.
IMM Cologne’s Pure Talents Contest
The designer Ilja Huber won first prize at the IMM Cologne’s Pure Talents Contest with his lamp “Baschnja” that’s made of three elements that can be placed together or as separate units anywhere in a room.
Nendo’s Melt Collection
Nendo is a Japanese Designer that discovered that by slumping fluid glass sheets over steel pipes and allowing it to drape under its own weight, the glass essentially shapes itself.
This idea was the inspiration for Melt Collection that was shown for the first time at the IMM Cologne. Melt Collection is a group of furniture and tabletop objects that it’s made in transparent and colorless glass.
