Gensler is an American design and architecture firm headquartered in San Francisco.  Art and Drue Gensler, and their associate, James Follett, founded the firm in 1965. The firm originally focused on corporate interior design, but has since diversified into numerous forms of architecture and design, including commercial office buildings, retail centers, airports, education facilities and entertainment complexes.

Arthur Gensler Jr.

An entrepreneur and architect, widely credited with elevating the practice of interior design to professional standing, Art Gensler founded the firm, in 1965. Moscone Convention Center

The building’s extraordinary flexibility, including more than 5,000 linear feet of moveable, ceiling-hung panels, allows separate events to be hosted simultaneously on all three floors. Gensler designed Moscone West in joint venture with Michael Willis Architects and Kwan Henmi Architecture.
