The city of Venice is well known as one of the most decorated cities in the world and the apartment decoration is inspired by the decoration of the city itself, thus the name “Another Venice”. The project was fully complete in 2017 and it faces one of the picturesque small canals all over Venice – the Sestiere San Marco.

The main focus of the home decor is the relationship between the inside and the outside. In order to achieve this brilliant relationship, the designers implemented elements such as the vertical architecture of the facades into the decor, going so far as to reflect these in everything from the apartment’s structural elements, to the patterns featured throughout.

Once inside, the living room appears to be a spot in transit – almost like the ever-shifting waters of the canal outside the walls – with diaphragm-like dividers sculpted in shiny brass and glazed, green glass, separating the space but doing so without sacrificing a single beam of light, even in the room’s darkest corners. Meanwhile, the walls are either painted in rich jewel tones – similar to the entryway – or covered in graphic, geometric wallpapers. The inlaid, parquet floor is just as elaborate as the walls, featuring a brown square design that seems to mirror the elaborate, architectural elements of the building itself.
