JLL
JLL is a world leader in real estate services, managing over four billion square feet of property worldwide. The firm’s New York headquarters are located at 330 Madison Avenue, right in the midst of bustling Midtown. Knowing that JLL needed to expand its offices to accommodate growing needs, the firm enlisted TPG Architecture to lead a substantial renovation in place project. Subsequently, TPG Architecture provided strategy and architectural services to bring their aspirations for the space to fruition.
Lexington Partners
Founded in 1994, Lexington Partners is a global independent manager of secondary private equity and co-investment funds. In 2020, the firm came to TPG Architecture with the desire to re-envision and relocate its New York office. Lexington felt their existing space at 660 Madison was dated and did not provide the right amenities for a firm of their size and caliber. TPG Architecture worked with Lexington to create a transformative, sophisticated, and modern workplace across two floors at 399 Park Avenue.
Nusr-Et Steakhouse at New York Meatpacking
After first opening its doors in 2010, Nusr-Et Steakhouse quickly became an industry leader with its top-quality steaks and impeccable guest service. The Head Chef Nusret Gökçe garnered attention online for his unique approach to food, which ultimately earned him the distinction of “Salt Bae.” Looking to create a new food destination in the NYC market, Chef enlisted TPG Architecture to design a new eatery in the Meatpacking District. The design pays homage to Chef’s butcher background, taking inspiration from the dynamic character of the Meatpacking District. The sophisticated venue seamlessly transforms from day to night and captures the pulsating energy and essence of the neighborhood.
Heidrick & Struggles
Heidrick & Struggles is a senior-level executive search company that provides culture shaping and leadership consulting services. The firm serves 70% of the Fortune 1000, with clients in every industry around the globe. Heidrick’s progressive leadership team chose to consolidate their NYC operations and cut their overall square footage by half. TPG Architecture worked with the client to create an office space at One Vanderbilt that speaks to their company culture and transformative work.
National Hockey League
TPG Architecture has been working with the National Hockey League (NHL) since the early 1990s, beginning with their headquarters project at 1251 Avenue of the Americas. Since, the firm has executed more workplace design services, including planning, strategy, and environmental graphics for the professional sports and entertainment organization. The NHL’s move to One Manhattan West marks the third headquarters project TPG Architecture has led with the most expansive scope yet, spanning over 175,000 SF. The vision for the project was to create a workplace reflective of the dynamic and exciting nature of the sport without sacrificing functionality or future flexibility.
DZ Bank
Founded in 2001, DZ Bank is the second-largest financial institution in Germany and offers an extensive range of products and services––particularly in the commercial banking sector. Recently, DZ Bank sought to reimagine its New York City HQ, with the goal of creating an office space that reflects its corporate culture and cooperative values. Collaborating with TPG Architecture on the new workspace, DZ Bank ultimately chose to relocate from 100 Park Avenue to One Vanderbilt, creating a space that was clean, bright and well-detailed.
