IN THE ROSSANA GARDEN, THE PLASTIC IS GREEN
Join the queue to enter the Rossana Orlandi Master Gallery on Via Bandello, as per the script. Make sure you take a moment to relax under the bar’s pergola in the magnificent secret garden, where this year the green of the climbers blends with “Guiltless Plastic”, the recycled plastic to which RO Guiltless Plastic is dedicated, a project conceived together with the designer’s daughter, Nicoletta Orlandi Brugnoni. Inside, discover the multifaceted and international interpretation of what plastic can become when it stops being waste: furniture, tableware, fashion, sculpture.
TRADITION AND INNOVATION FROM DIMOREGALLERY
DimoreStudio blends history and contemporaneity with elegant irreverence. Intriguingly, the wallpaper is hung to contrast with paintwork in rooms punctuated by unique Bitossi pieces. In the section dedicated to the rediscovery of the work of rationalist architect Claudio Salocchi (1934-2012), we can see a mise-en-scène of his house with radically modern furniture—modular sofa, free-standing bookcase, storage desk, a Louis XV console table, and mid-century art.
ODYSSEY BY ANDRÉS REISINGER
Earlier this year, Andrés Reisinger captured the attention of the design world with The Shipping, a collection of born-digital furniture that announced the arrival of a new mode of practice. With this new presentation at Nilufar Gallery, entitled Odyssey – an allusion back to the historical origins of epic narrative – he extends his reach further still, offering a beguiling and complex interplay of virtual and physical experience.
