The First Lady of the USA Melania Trump unveiled this week the long-awaited White House Christmas decorations. And although it was not made by a professional interior designer, the final result is simply MAGICAL!
Every year during the Holidays season, the White House is filled with all kind of joyful holiday decorations: Christmas trees, wreaths, garland, colorful lights, gingerbread houses, and more. As usual, a team of volunteers from across the country worked diligently in late November to get the most famous house in the world ready for the very popular public holiday tours.
For this year, the chosen theme was “Time Honored Traditions” and features 53 Christmas trees with over 12,000 ornaments, 18,000 feet of Christmas lights, 71 wreaths, and a 350-pound Gingerbread house. Continuing an annual tradition for over 45 years, the White House Crèche, an 18th-century terracotta and wood nativity scene, is displayed in the East Room. And Best Interior Designers has some great details to share with you!
