Molteni & C is a top Italian brand that at Salone del Mobile has a stand focusing on a Mid-Century concept. Displayed on Hall 20, the stand features a design from the Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen, the brand’s Creative Director and Corporate Image Curator.
Molteni & C‘s concept for the year 2019 is greatly inspired by Mid 20th Century architectural houses. Pure walls and long ceilings dominate the definition of the space, transforming every room into something broader and more open. A large kitchen it’s one of the mains ideals of the Molteni & C‘s inspired house. There’s an opening for a luxurious and sophisticated kitchen that contains a central island. On that premise, you can stroll around the kitchen, gathering all the supplies you need, and still located at its center. It has also a touch of Mid-Century and American concept behind it, with a modern twist.
There’s also space for an amazing and inspirational studio, built around an open green void. This iconic room is strategically connected with the rooftop terrace through an open staircase, where you pass through a library.
