New York Life Beyond Compare At 35 Hudson Yards Residences

Poised on the city’s western waterfront, Hudson Yards transcends the imagination. An entirely new neighborhood along Manhattan’s West Side—fourteen spectacular acres of lush parksremarkable restaurantselevated shopping, and cultural experiences, including The Shed—sets a higher standard for what a neighborhood should be. The tallest residential building, 35 Hudson Yards, rises ninety-two stories above it all, a soaring tower of limestone and glass with sweeping panoramic views. This luxurious building offers a wealth of experiences to enrich the mindbody, and soul.

David M. Childs, FAIA, of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, has added a warm and luxurious feel to this handsome building, incorporating limestone piers and graceful curves, which appear like sails reflecting the panoramic views of the Hudson River, the iconic Manhattan skyline, and its distinctive new Hudson Yards neighbors. The building is conceived holistically, with a striking series of setbacks that twist around the tower, expressing fluid movement and presenting opportunities for terraces with outdoor gardens that encircle the tower as they ascend.

Tony Ingrao of Ingrao Inc., a fixture on the AD100–Architectural Digest’s list of the greatest talents in the world of design, brings his distinctive modern luxury to 35 Hudson Yards. Ingrao’s elevated sensibility means exquisite proportions and materials that are always unexpectedrichly textured, and beautifully illuminated. Starting on the 53rd floor, these two-to-six-bedroom homes range from 1,500 to 10,000 square feet, and are all designed on a grand scale. They feature gracious entry foyers and galleries that lead through to the great rooms, ceilings that soar to nearly eleven feet and grand living areas with large expanses of glass.
