MAJOR UPDATE – After careful consideration, the Architectural Digest Design Show, originally scheduled March 19–22, 2020, has been POSTPONED to June 25–28, 2020. Growing concerns over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak have prompted the rescheduling by Show Management, Condé Nast, and many of its operating partners. 

The Architectural Digest Design Show (AD Show) is set to deliver another dazzling edition this March 19-22 in New York City on Pier 94. One of the most sought-after design events of the year, this four-day event is one of the few shows that offers both design trade and consumer attendees exclusive access to products from hundreds of luxury brands from all over the U.S. and beyond in one setting.

Held on Pier 94, the immersive experience annually attracts interior designers, architects, retail and hospitality buyers, builders, and developers as well as design-savvy consumers who are sourcing for projects and gathering inspiration from the best of luxury design in today’s marketplace. This year’s show will include new activations such as culinary demonstrations by top chefs, designer and artist appearances, inspiring installations, and exciting in-booth events including product demonstrations, private book signings, and behind-the-scenes VIP tours. Highlights and featured areas at the show include:




REFRESH: As one of the largest collections of kitchen, bath, luxury appliances, and premium building products in North America, REFRESH boasts exciting introductions from over 75 of today’s leading companies and most inspired brands. Attendees will discover new technologies and state-of-the-art innovations in kitchen appliances and cabinetry, bath, decorative hardware, countertops, stone, tile surfaces, doors, and more. This year’s show will include many new-to-the-show companies such as ABC Stone, Bakes & Kropp, The Hudson Company and Monogram, among many others. Returning exhibitors include esteemed brands such as Artistic Tile, Firenzecolor, Graff, Paris Ceramics, Sub-Zero Group, Thermador, and more.

FURNISH: A comprehensive resource for contemporary and classic furniture, lighting, carpets and rugs, decorative accessories, textiles, and art, the FURNISH section is brimming with sublime designs perfect to create the most exquisite interiors and outdoor living environments. Attendees will discover singular, and cutting-edge designs for residential applications from new ADDS exhibitors such as Atelier Alain Ellouz, DeMuro Das, Ditre Italia, Gaze Burvill, Global Lighting, Graham & Brown, Lutron, and Skram Furniture. These brands will join Benjamin Moore, Calligaris, Chai Ming Studio, David Harber, KGBL, and Jan Kath which are thrilled to return to the show, in introducing exceptional products that redefine today’s notion of luxury.

MADE: The MADE section is the largest curated show for independent design in the country. Here attendees will find a treasure trove of limited-edition and/or one-of-a-kind furnishings, accessories, and art pieces. Eighty new exhibitors will present work this year, with a focus on new materials and surrealist takes on traditional furniture by Concrete Cat, Hannah Vaughan Studio, Joseph Algieri, Nice Condo, Soft Geometry, Ana Volante and Jack Rabbit Studio. In addition, a large group of Brooklyn-based designers will showcase their sophisticated high-end designs, including Moving Mountains, Bowen Liu, Mary Wallis, Piet Houtenbos, and Vonnegut/Kraft.

SHOPS: The curated SHOPS afford attendees the opportunity to buy a piece of everyday luxury from pioneering design retailers. A cash-and-carry marketplace, it offers décor, gifts, tabletop accessories, and more for immediate purchase. The 2020 brands include SNOWE, Fredericks & Mae, and KONZUK, who is presenting a collaboration with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, and many more

AD PENTHOUSE: In honor of AD’s 100 years, AD is expanding its annual presence at the show with the new AD Penthouse. The distinctive space will be designed by top interior designer, Chiara de Rege, hand-picked by the AD editorial team. De Rege’s past design projects have included The Wing coworking spaces, Carolina Herrera flagship store, Jordana Brewster’s Los Angeles residence and several upscale New York City restaurants. From showcasing the newest high-tech kitchen appliances, to a flexible living area, a luxe master bedroom, and more, the AD Penthouse will showcase the past, present, and the future of great design.
