iKonic by R&S is a residential interior design company with a portfolio of unique and tailor made projects that range from contemporary apartments to custom designed luxury villas in various parts of the world including London, Hong Kong and the MENA region.

iKonic by R&S is bringing a new and brilliant sense of style, a design that appeal to both young and more mature and sits well in contemporary and traditional interiors.

Listening to our clients describing their preferences, but struggling to imagine the complete picture; from tiles to wall paints to lighting to extension to appliances,..everything that makes up their dream home unique, out of those concerns iKonic by R&S offers  a full service that includes all furniture and fixtures, and helping with the overall design scheme.

We believe that success is measured by the reaction of our clients, and for that we place their needs at the heart of the design process ,working closely to given briefs, budget and style requirement.

The Designers

Sywar Smida 

German born, Tunisian national, having lived the past 15 years in different cities across Tunisia, France, Egypt and the UAE. Grew up to subtle taste and esthetic, surrounded  by unique atmospheres. Graduated as a pharmacist, then developed my passion for design through setting up a family business for design and accessorizes in Tunisia, and had the chance to follow my dreams later in Egypt when working for worldwide leading developers interacting with architects and designers, then studying  with Klc Chelsea Harbor school of Design, London. While helping family and friends achieving ikonic spaces and creating the atmospheres they were aspiring to, I met Rim in London and since then we kept consulting each other for every new assigned project while living apart.

This didn’t happen overnight. Nor did it happen by chance , an interior designer is what I wanted to be and an interior designer was who I was going to become.

Phd  degree holder in interior design from university of arts and design in Tunisia, and with more 10 years work experience, from my own company in Tunisia, to London and now Dubai I do believe that my mission is to help people  to define their goals, assign a realistic timeline, and works diligently to achieve their  satisfaction.

I’m grateful everyday to my wonderful clients who have entrusted me with their homes. I live and breathe to have a relationship with a home and the people in it. As I continue to experience creative growth and artistic freedom I find myself right where I belong… living the life I have imagined.
