Odette Sofa by Boca do Lobo, tells the story of a princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer’s curse, inspired by the Swan Lake Op. 20, ballet composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Its sweeping silhouette is accentuated with a polished brass structure and an asymmetric back offers a sophisticated design and timeless appeal.
Her work is often inspired by the Art Deco style and wabi-sabi philosophy. These influences reflect Emmanuelle Simon’s aesthetic approach, where the raw nature of materials breathes a note of authenticity into the carefully-designed lines of the interior design projects.
Malay Armchair was inspired by the ethnicities of the mesmerizing Malay Archipelago, a twist on mid-century modern furniture. This tufted upholstered chair with aged brass legs has a mystical soul that will fulfill your living room set with energy from Nature.
Cleverly accentuated by light, each volume is arranged in such a way as to reveal different perspectives thanks to subtle transitions, playing on the notion of experience, which is a key part of Emmanuelle Simon’s style. This refined sophistication does not override attention to detail, creating balance through its uniqueness.
Emmanuelle Simon‘s incredible work and expertise has granted her a coveted spot on AD’s 100 designers of the year, as well as Wallpaper* Design Award of the ‘Best Calm Spot’ for La Maison Evidens de Beauté in 2019.
