AvroKO is an American interior design company straight from the heart of New York City, encompassing a multitude of disciplines and creating thoughtful, provocative architecture, brands, products, and environments. Since its launch, AvroKO has earned a reputation as one of the most innovative design firms in the field, due in large part to the group’s self-styled storytelling, integrated design process and focus on creating transformative experiences.
Architecture and interior design lie at the heart of AvroKO. They’ve built a reputation for concept-driven spaces that resonate with guests because, in their view, every element relates to a central narrative.
AvroKO’s critically hailed portfolio includes restaurants, bars, hotels, retail, and residential projects from New York to Hong Kong, all characterized by a unique convergence between the ideals of the past and an off-beat, forward-looking sensibility.
The James Beard Awards, Hospitality Design Awards, and HA &D Award are among those that have recognized their architecture and interior design.
Within AvroKO, you can find three distinct concepts of brand and design management. One of them is the “Brand Bureau”, that is a strategy and concept group, design firm, and branding outfit rooted in hospitality. Brand Bureau helps established and emerging brands express themselves through developing new concepts, visualizing brands, and crafting environments of scale.
Their team has first-hand experience with—and insight into—global F&B behaviors and trends gleaned from more than a decade of strategizing and designing for hotels, restaurants and hospitality-based retail clients.
A continuation and application of AvroKO’s celebrated “design through storytelling” approach, Brand Bureau works to get at the truth of a brand in order to translate its message through everything from complex programming to immersive environments.
The second one is the “Good Shop” that, in addition to their own independent furniture lines, have developed a wide range of custom furniture and lighting for architecture and interior schemes. Their in-house furniture designers work with trusted manufacturers from initial concept to final product to build pieces that bring a one-of-a-kind stamp to a project.
The third and final concept, the “AvroKO Hospitality Group” (AHG), provides a range of hospitality services, building legacy brands and experiences for guests and consumers, while establishing efficient and measured operational systems behind the scenes that drive revenue and growth for their clients.
AHG’s range of services expands beyond Business Strategy and Planning, to include Food & Beverage Concept Development, Operational Development and Management, Marketing & Programming Strategy and Implementation.
AHG works with some of the world’s most visionary restaurateurs, Chefs, Mixologists, Sommeliers, Spirits, Beer and Wine Brands, Real Estate Developers and Brokers, Hotel and Resort Developers and Operators.
