Dubai Properties Group (DPG) is a member of Dubai Holding and master developer of world class destinations that support the long-term development of Dubai including Business Bay, DUBAILAND, The Walk at JBR and Culture Village. Established in October 2004, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
It offers end-to-end property related services including project development, portfolio management and asset management through its business units Dubai Properties (DP) and Ejadah.
DP is responsible for developing DPG’s sales portfolio including project development, sales and customer service and handover management; it also manages the leasing portfolio across DPG’s destinations and districts, including land leases and retail and mall management. Leading asset management company Ejadah provides facilities management, property management and security solutions for the public and private sector.

DPG recognises the significance of strong corporate governance, particularly in large diversified operations. This framework has been developed after extensive benchmarking against international and local best practices, and is aligned with local regulations.
As part of its corporate governance practices, DPG has recently established a Board of Directors that includes three independent non-executive directors and two executive directors. The Board is responsible for setting long-term business strategies, overseeing implementation, ensuring the adequacy of internal controls, and strategic risk management. Audit and Risk, Executive Human Capital and Investment & Allocation committees have also been formed following the establishment of the Board.
Dubai Holding’s Management Board consists of world class specialists in their fields. His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi is the Chairman of Dubai Holding. He leads the development of the UAE Federal Government Strategy and oversees its overall delivery and performance. HE Mohammad AlGergawi has received numerous awards such as the Moroccan Royal Order of Merit by His Majesty King Mohammad VI of Morocco and the American Business Award.
Ahmad Bin Byat is one of Dubai’s most respected and successful corporate leaders, renowned for his business acumen and visionary leadership. As a senior figure in many of Dubai’s leading organisations, Bin Byat plays a key role in spearheading Dubai’s drive towards the creation of a knowledge-based economy.
Fadel Al Ali is the Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding, responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for its company and its business entities. His is also Acting Group CEO of Dubai Properties Group. DPG’s chairman position is held by Abdulla Al Shamsi.

The Walk at JBR, is Dubai’s first outdoor destination by the beach, offering a wide range of shopping, dining and leisure activities, attracting over 12 million visitors in 2014. The Walk stretches across a 1.7 kilometre long avenue, and boasts over 305 retail outlets in both its ground and plaza levels, alongside more than 30 different types of international cuisine in its F&B outlets.
The Walk’s mix of retail & hospitality outlets includes designer boutiques, cafes and restaurants, 5 star hotels, supermarkets, jewellery and gifts, home furnishing, fashion and accessories, health & beauty, as well as banks and money exchange services. The Walk at JBR hosts an ongoing program of world class events and activities throughout the year to keep everyone, including children, entertained and engaged.
Business Bay is Dubai’s central business, commercial and residential area. At 80 million sq. ft., it creates a prime hub of residential space, international and local businesses, financial institutions and retail and hospitality options. It is ideally situated in the heart of Dubai, and is served by the Al Khail Road and Sheikh Zayed Road – two of Dubai’s biggest traffic arteries.
