The Bentley Home collection has been interpreting the luxurious personality of the automobile brand since 2013. The silhouettes, precious materials, and iconic shapes of Bentley Motors have been translated into a new language intended for the home. Sporting a passion for technology, goods can be customized in the finishes that have made the British brand unique, from the most exquisite leathers to Calacatta and Valentine Grey marbles, right through to the woods that echo the automotive codes.
Bentley Home opens its first Atelier at 36, Corso Venezia, Milan. The colonnaded courtyard with its charming cross vaults, together with the immense staircase of the historical late 19th century Palazzo Chiesa, are the preface to a contemporary space of over 500 square meters. The contrast between the building’s neoclassical architecture and the daring interior of the Atelier is complimented by the use of key elements such as stone, mirrors and leather, which provides the setting for the furniture of the Bentley Home collection.
The central space of the Atelier is crossed by rays of light and unexpected reflections, which shine from the large windows onto the furnishings of the collection, moving through a wall entirely framed by mirrors. On one side is a view of the Milan skyline, modern and technological, while on the other, the courtyard, where nature and history reign. The result is a continuum of multi-sensory experiences and tactile charm, an invitation to take time out and contemplate.
One space flows into the next, inviting guests to experience the exclusive world of Bentley Home: intimate lounge areas enriched by furniture in luxurious Degradé woods, the sumptuous suite with its splendid terrace looking onto the courtyard. The unique Atelier area, like a tailors workshop, represents the essence of the Bentley Home lifestyle: a space where luxury customization takes shape amidst the very finest leathers, marbles and woods.
The atmospheres are completed by a selection of limited edition pieces designed by Xavier Lust. The works reveal the poetics of the Belgian designer and his experimental approach to the material. Dynamism and lightness meet the strength and resistance of the metal, while the curves, the reflections, and roundness demonstrate the artist’s style and perfect fit with the Bentley Homeworld. The opening of the first Bentley Home Atelier, on one of Milan’s most elegant and sophisticated streets, marks another important step in the retail expansion plan launched by Luxury Living Group.
