Virtuelle
The Virtuelle was one of the first yachts that Starck created. It’s a bit more simple than some of his latest designs, but it’s an example of elegance. Virtuelle was launched in 1999 by Tencara. To create it, Starck worked closely with naval architect Andrea Vallicelli.
Motor Yacht A
This one is closer to the personal style of Starck. Launched in 2008 by German shipyard Blohm+Voss, the Motor Yacht A was created with the help of naval architect Martin Francis and was commissioned by Russian owner Andrey Melnichencko. It’s one of the two major A yachts Stack designed for him. Starck spent four years working on the project, creating the interior and exterior design, as well as the design for the custom tenders.
Venus
Commissioned by the late Apple founder Steve Jobs, the Venus is probably the most famous yacht of Starck. This stunning vessel was launched by Feadship in 2012. Her sleek exteriors feature a notably large proportion of glass, while her voluminous interiors are believed to total around 1,500GT.
Sailing Yacht A
The largest and most controversial of all of Starck’s yacht designs, Sailing Yacht A was the second yacht created by Stark for the Russian millionaire Andrey Melnichenk. This amazing and futuristic vessel comprises eight decks with an underwater observation deck hidden in the bulbous bow. It’s stunning and a pure example of Starck’s modern appeal!
