At this year’s Salone Internazionale del Mobile Marcel Wanders introduces exciting brand new beautiful designs and extends existing collections in bold directions, for Alessi, Barovier&Toso, Cappellini, Magis, Moooi, Olivari, Poliform, LG Hausys and Very Wood. His presence is being felt across the entire city of Milan.
The new products include, among others, the Perseus Chandelier and Lust Lamps forBarovier&Toso, the Ant Chair for Cappellini, Cyborg and Troy seating families for Magis, Olivari Crystal collection, Poliform’s Mad Chair inspired designs, multiple new designs at Moooi’s 1.700 m2 showroom and already launched during Maison & Objet in Paris ‘Dressed’ and ‘Dressed in wood’ breakfast collections for Alessi and Century collection for Very Wood including lounge chairs, armchairs, sofas and bar stools.
During the show you can also experience Marcel Wanders’ concept of two opposite worlds for LG Hausys. In this space where rational and emotional meet, HI-MACS® becomes a piece of art. Divided into a rational and an emotional zone, the former lays out a clean and geometric meeting space, while the latter exhibits more of a poetic feel. Two imposing slowly rotating ‘Medallions’ dominate the stand. The beauty and versatility of the Solid Surface HI-MACS® is revealed in an unexpected demonstration of the balance between tactile and intangible, practical and magical.
