Nilufar Gallery is one of the most prestigious and famous galleries around the world, a meeting point between the history of design and the evolution of contemporary design. It was founded in 1979 by a great curator of exhibitions and catalogues, event planner, gallerist, and the undisputed leader among art dealers – Nina Yashar.

Born in Teheran 58 years ago, Nina Yashar moved to Milan with her family in 1963. She studied History of Art in Venice and since very young she collaborated with her father, wholesaler of old and modern carpets.
