Patrick Jouin collaborated with Pedrali, an Italian company producing contemporary furniture for public spaces, offices, and homes. The collection is the result of careful and accurate research aimed to create industrial design products with original shapes and is made of plastic materials, metal, wood as well as upholstered. Let us show you this incredible Hera Collection, a concept that brings you lightness and comfort.
In the Héra collection the designer, Patrick Jouin, has chosen to preserve wood, the core material of this armchair, by presenting it with an extremely delicate fluid form. “ For me, the project of a new chair is not only about aesthetics: I design objects for people, to make their life better. A great part of this project relies on the beauty of wood and the possibilities of its manufacturing process. Thanks to the know-how of Pedrali and to the latest generation technologies, we managed to get a light and sensual armchair, which use wood only where necessary ” – states Jouin.
Hera is available in ash or American walnut, this armchair embodies the concept of lightness, fusing it with comfort: the backrest, in three-dimensional bent plywood of 6mm thickness, has a remarkably elegant and ergonomic design, while its upholstered seat in polyurethane foam supported by elastic belts gives great coziness.
The rectangular-section legs with round edge display the attention to detail that distinguishes this collection. Like all the products from the wood collection, even Héra reflects the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability, following the Made in Pedrali philosophy.
