Anna Wojczynska – founder of the Warsaw-based Vis A Vis studio, interior designer, avant-garde of luxury interior design in post-communist Poland. Definitely one of the most important personalities in the Polish design industry.

In the Times when design in general was unknown to wider public in Poland and polish artisans and producers of luxury products almost did not exist, Anna Wojczynska was introducing and promoting the best of world’s producers and designers. She introduced to Polish customers such brands as B&B Italia, Giorgetti, Tressera, Bulthaup, MOOOI, Tom Dixon or Rimadesio.

Her projects are particularly admired due to the unusual was Anna reconciles functionality with luxury and elegance. Such created spaces are practical and glamorous at the same time.

Anna and Vis A Vis studio has a quite diverse project portfolio, including commercial projects, private residences, products and furniture design.

In 1996, along with Wojciech Wachowski, Anna established ZOOM gallery promoting international design in Poland. Vis A Vis designed also repeatedly awarded washbasins and for LOGO brand and their own brand of lamps Kombine. Their design and interior design work has been frequently published in Polish as well as international press.

Anna Wojczynska published articles about contemporary design in many influencial national design magazines, such as “Dom & Wnetrze” or “Architektura”.
