The hotel occupies levels 24 to 59, above an eight-story shopping complex and a fifteen-story commercial center, offering panoramic views of the city’s skyline. The design of the hotel was inspired by the ‘Chinese flowers of the seasons,’ which feature in the adjacent Zhongshan Park. Elegant forms and rich colors reflect the local surroundings and create a stylish, comfortable and inviting hotel experience. Hollow cut-out images of the Chinese plum blossom are infused throughout the design of the first-floor entrance and the main Sky Lobby areas on level 25. The Chinese lotus flower concept permeates the design of the hotel’s restaurant and tea lounge areas, instilling an Asian flair with a touch of warmth and sophistication. The hotel has now become an iconic landmark in the city, visible from virtually all parts of Shanghai. The hotel aims to be the first of its class in the rapidly evolving Zhongshan Park district of Shanghai.
