Christian Lacroix & Vista Alegre Joined Forces in a Sublime Collection – It was during the popular design event Maison et Objet 2018 that Portuguese and French power-house luxury brands Vista Alegre and Christian Lacroix showcased their stunning and superb porcelain collection entitled Primavera.

Best Interior Designers couldn’t pass the opportunity to show you this amazing collection that’s an ode to the sweetness of Spring.

Consisting of several decorative and sculptural pieces, with each design being highlighted by golden notes and gold and platinum filaments, the Primavera Collection represents the mix and match of the brands, allowing to combine styles and forms in a fresh and sophisticated way. The partnership between these two leading forces of design began in 2013, and this is actually the first china collection between them to include a series of sculpted decorative birds.

Primavera features tropical exuberance through flowers, colorful birds, feathers, ferns and fireflies that pose like a baroque herbarium over a white porcelain set with cutouts and friezes, evoking the English embroidery on the pristine petticoats worn by the beautiful women from Salvador da Bahia.

Overall, this natural and unique collection is overpowered by spectacular elements like Magenta dahlias, crimson poppies and buttercup yellow pansies which in turn blend perfectly with lush vegetation that appears to escape from a labyrinth of immaculate strips.

To further improve this collection, several plates, serving dishes, sugar bowls and treasure boxes are decorated in a thousand of different hues, making it one of the most diverse porcelain collection to have ever been created.
