The Miami Design District is the home to the top design companies in the world and is reputed as the premier cultural hub. During the tradeshow (May 12-15, 2015) series of special events and programmes will be curated by the design showrooms in the newly constructed Paseo Ponti, a pedestrian walk-way located in the heart of the Miami Design District. Some of the planned events look very promising to us!

Luminaire Lab presents the Fabric meets Glass: 73 Series as well as a talk, Designlives, with Omer Arbel at Luminaire Lab in the Design District. On Tuesday, May 12th from 6 pm – 9pm, Luminaire Lab will unveil an installation designed by Omer Arbel during a reception and Designlives lecture by the designer. Arbel is the founder of Vancouver-based Omer Arbel Office and Creative Director of Bocci. Luminaire Lab will also host the US Debut of Bocci 73 Series lamp, Bocci’s latest lighting collection that explores the material possibilities of the moment fabric meets glass.
