The Miami Design District is the home to the top design companies in the world and is reputed as the premier cultural hub. During the tradeshow (May 12-15, 2015) series of special events and programmes will be curated by the design showrooms in the newly constructed Paseo Ponti, a pedestrian walk-way located in the heart of the Miami Design District. Some of the planned events look very promising to us!

The Rug Company will showcase groundbreaking pieces by fashion greats, including Paul Smith and Alexander McQueen, in the exhibition “Collectable Collaborations” exploring the transition from fashion to home. Each piece is an innovative textile creation and celebrates the marriage of traditional handmade craft and contemporary design. The Rug Company will host a late night opening on May 14th from 6 – 9PM with cocktails & a private viewing in partnership with Cultured Magazine.
