Known for presenting memorable, interactive installations in Milan, quartz manufacturer Caesarstone has collaborated with celebrated British designer Tom Dixon on a multi-sensory creation – restaurant design project. The Restaurant is a series of 4 extraordinary sculptural kitchens named Earth, Water, Fire, Air.
Each kitchen cooks one specific course and services its corresponding dining hall arrayed in a cruciform building. All of this is set in a stunning, late Baroque interiors of Rotonda Bella Desana filled with Tom Dixon furnishings and illumination.
The restaurant was open only during Milan Design Week 2016, but you can click here to take a virtual tour around the venue.
You can also watch Tom Dixon talking about the inspiration and ideas behind the unique restaurant project.
