Autoban is a design studio based in Istanbul, creating and developing projects of architecture and interiors. Their designs are based on knowledge, imagination, creativity and culture.
Since 2003, when this studio was formed, they have received several awards and recognition for being young and promising designers.
35 people constitute this multi-disciplinary team, mainly architects and interior designers, allowing them to take on large projects and challenges.
Its growth has been tremendous, with the opening of galleries, projects in Bars and Restaurants, Luxury Hotels and many other venues. They have revolutionized some spaces in Istanbul mainly, but not only. Their influence can be felt around the world.
Their approach concentrates in progressive design resolutions with an experimental standpoint, designing spaces towards offering a rich experience to whoever passes by.
The work of Autoban has won several international awards beginning with “Best Young Designers” by Wallpaper* (2004) and “Best Newcomer” by Blueprint Magazine (2005). The list continues with many awards given by different respectable organizations. Most recently, The House Hotel Bosphorus was listed in “the 101 Best Hotels in the World” by Tatler Travel Guide 2012, Suite Bed was selected as the “Best Bed” in the Wallpaper* Design Awards 2012 / Domestic Design Category, and Nef 163 Apartments was shortlisted in World Architectural Festival 2010.
