Sir David Chipperfield is decidedly one of the most globally recognized personalities in architecture and design. His award-winning work has been recognized many times over for its simplicity and clarity of vision, and recently, he was appointed as artistic director of Driade, the iconic Italian design house.
An Irish born, an extremely talented interior designer with an architectural education – David Collins. Best recognized for his luxury restaurant and bar interiors that can be found all over London and in many places abroad. His sudden death in 2013 moved deeply fashion and design world everywhere. His work is continued now by the Collins Studio – interior design and decoration practice he established in 1985 in London.

Fernanda Marques was born in São Paulo and graduated in architecture from the University of São Paulo. Early in her career, he apprenticed with Gian Carlo Gasperini, one of the masters of contemporary architecture in Brazil. IN 1990 she opened her own office, FERNANDA MARQUES ARCHITECTS, which acts as a channel for its multidisciplinary work. Fernanda believes that to create something really new, you can not only ration production in terms of materials and energy consumption, but should also consider the usability and lifespan.
Fiona – the eldest of three children – grew up in the North of England and studied fine art at Chelsea College of Art in London but changed her major to interior spatial design to follow her real passion. She also spent one year at Parsons School of Design in New York. In the beginning of her inspiring career as an interior designer, Fiona Barratt-Campbell was head designer at Kelly Hoppen Interiors. In 2006, at the age 25, Fiona launched Fiona Barrat Interiors, with her first project was in the complete refurbishment of a ski chalet in the Swiss Alps’ Verbier for Richard Branson, a business tycoon.
Francis Sultana is a furniture and interior designer based in London with an international client base covering Europe & Russia, USA and Asia. Sultana is the favoured designer of many of the world’s biggest art patrons, drawn to his use of noble materials, fine craftsmanship and luxurious finishes. Francis works across both residential and commercial interior projects.

Iria Degen is one of the most sought-after interior designers in Switzerland. She followed her passion to design after having graduated with diploma of law. After that the destiny led her by chance to Paris to Andrée Putman, who was the great French interior architect and designer. Iria Degen worked with him for four years as a project manager. At the same time Iria attended the École Camondo, that is considered to be one of the most prestigious schools for interior decoration and design. In 2000 she founded her own office for interior design in Paris and Zurich.
Jan Showers, a well-known interior designer from Dallas (Tx), has grown exponentially. However, this has nothing to do with luck but everything to do with her talent. Jan Showers is known for creating rooms that stand apart from the usual, and yet, are completely livable and reflect her clients’ lifestyles. She and her talented team make sure that each project they do represents something personal about the client, but always with a different approach. Showers’ favorite quote is “The first thing I tell my clients is that they need to look great and feel good in their own rooms, otherwise, why bother?” She is known for using luxurious fabrics, leathers, colors that are unexpected, and her ability to mix traditional with mid-20th century modern.
As a teenager, encouraged by his mother, he completed his training at the École Boulle – a traditional trade school that taught weaving, plastering, cabinetmaking and other basic crafts. He then attended the École Camondo, a school of interior design, to learn the history of architecture, design and the decorative arts. After graduation he joined the team of French interior design legend – Henri Samuel. Years later he opened his own design office at the shop of Didier Aaron, the Paris antiquaire, and he is now partners with Didier’s son, Herv’ Aaron.
Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959, and graduated in Design at Kingston Polytechnic Design School, London (1979-82 BA (Des.)) and The Royal College of Art for Postgraduate studies (1982-85 MA (Des.) RCA). In 1984 he studied at Berlins HdK on a Scholarship. In 1986 he set up an Office for Design in London. His work was included in the Documenta 8 exhibition in Kassel in 1987, for which he designed the Reuters News Centre. The following year he was invited to take part in “Design Werkstadt”, a part of the “Berlin, Cultural City of Europe” program, where he exhibited “Some new items for the house, part I” at the DAAD Gallery.
Born in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, Jaya Ibrahim is a son of a Sumatran diplomat and Yogyanese princess. Jaya spent his childhood traveling with his parents, as well as living in the house of his maternal grandmother where he absorbed the Javanese culture. As a young man, Jaya attended university in England where a series of pivotal events connected him to Interior Design. Early in the 1990’s, Jaya returned to Indonesia where he established a design studio that flourished from the beginning.
Featured on the ELLE Decor and AD 100 lists of the world’s preeminent talents in architecture and interior design, Jean-Louis Deniot has long been and of the best interior designers in the word. His décors are his playground, spaces where spontaneity and magic are de rigueur. After growing up in Bridgeton, New Jersey, Adler studied semiotics and art history at Brown University, as well as ceramics at the Rhode Island School of Design. In September 2008, he married his partner of 14 years, Simon Doonan, in California. Doonan and Adler live in New York City with their Norwich Terrier, Liberace. Jonathan Adler is an advocate for gay rights, Adler has publicly expressed his support for gay marriage.
