We always achieve better results if we love what we do. What do you love most about being an interior designer?
I can assure you that when you love what you do you automatically do what you love, and thus you can achieve really high results. First of all, I’m an architect – the person who’s the creator, executor, manager, and the biggest self-critic, interior design is only one of the many aspects of my work.

Do you have a favorite project or a favorite story about one of your projects?
First of all, I am always in touch with my colleagues, not only in Ukraine but also from all around the world. Every self-respecting specialist should be aware of their colleague’s’ work. Also, nowadays there are a lot of architecture sites and apps like Pinterest. And the most enjoyable way is traveling. When you can see and fell the atmosphere in its original surroundings.
Keeping up to date with all the trends is essential for anyone who wants to conquer this market. In what ways do you keep current with new trends?
I follow the modern trends through specialized websites and literature, also through international architecture/construction exhibitions.
How would you describe your style? Do you have any kind of “signatures” that may help to identify your projects?
I’d call it – functional eclecticism. I like to mix materials and textures , but at the same time, I never choose the beauty instead of functionality. Because one of the main architect’s objectives is to create convenient and comfortable space for life. And nowadays architects are doing their projects for the sake of creation, forgetting that they work for the human beings.
If you had to pick a project around the world that you wish it had been made by you, which would it be?
If I was lucky to choose any project, I would have worked with the building of the Museum of Modern Art or some kind of cultural center. Also, I’d like to design and develop social objects. I would like to have the opportunity to choose any country and build their schools, hospitals, and development centers. I would be happy to deal with this if I had access to permanent financing.
Which are your favorite brands, those that can never miss in one of your projects?
There are a lot of them. Just can’t list everyone. But I also like the custom products!
