Moving on from his collaboration with Philippe Starck, Bruno Borrione decides to focus upon his own projects in order to give them all the time and the attention he wishes. This period begins with three main projects : a four-star hotel in Palma de Mallorca, the hotel Intercontinental Avenue Marceau in Paris and the hotel PIC in Valence, in the south of France (Relais & Châteaux). This last project launches a wonderful collaboration with Anne-Sophie PIC, continuing with the makeover of her three-star gourmet restaurant and the opening of La Dame de Pic in Paris. Then other projects start such as restaurants in Madrid, Spain (Teatriz, Manzoni, Vipsmart), New-York (Mihoko’s 21 grams) and Paris (Table Ronde, Chalet des Iles, Prince de Galles) ; new hotels (Les Avizes in Avize – in the Champagne region- for Anselme and Corinne Selosse, the extension of the Jardin des Sens in Montpellier for the brothers Jacques et Laurent Pourcel), the renovation of the hotels St Martin’s Lane and Sanderson in London ; and some private residences (Beirut, London, Los Angeles). Considering his activities with Philippe Starck, Bruno continues some collaborations started for a long time with the cooperation of Benedikt Taschen (bookshops in Berlin, Copenhaguen, Miami), Sam Nazarian (hotels SLS in Los Angeles, Miami, New-York, Las Vegas), and more recently Alexandre Allard (hotels Royal-Monceau in Paris, Matarazzo in Sao Paulo).
