Tono was born in Alicante in 1957.
He studied at the College of Architecture of Valencia University and the College of Industrial Art of Alicante, where he graduated in Applied Arts and Artistic crafts, specializing in Interior Design in 1985. While he was studying he was designing furniture and became part of the design team of a renowned international firm.
In 1985 he started his own Interior Design Studio in the city of Alicante and since then, he has carried out, together with his team, over 800 projects which include all forms of design either at an individual level or in collaboration with other professionals from the Architecture, Interior, Furniture, and Exhibition Design fields.
In 2001, he set up Tono Lledó Interioristas s.l. with offices in Madrid and Alicante, developing Interior Design projects all over Spain as well as Milan, Cannes and Hamburg.

Until 1998 he was a member of the Board of the Official College of Interior Designers of Valencia as their representative in Alicante province. At present he is still linked with this official organization, taking part in conferences, seminaries and international design juries.
He was nominated in 2003 as candidate to the National Design Prize of the BCD Foundation, part of the Ministry of Science and Technology and selected in 2009 for the MODUS VIVENDI exhibition, which shows the best works in Interior Design in the last decade in the Valencian Community. He exhibited in the first edition of CasaDecor Valencia in 2001 as a guest of its Committee. And in 2008, he took part in the exhibition at MuVIM and appeared in the publication of the book “30 years of Interior Design in the Valencia Community.”
Since 1987 the Interior Designer Esperanza Ivorra, became part of Tono Lledó´s team as Project Director. She has also the task of mentoring new additions to this team of technicians and designers.

There is a continuous training and information gathering process within the team which is complemented with the attendance to International Trade Fairs and Contests as well as Master Courses in Ergonomics, Bio-construction and Technical Seminaries on how the application of the newest materials to Interior Design.
Media publications of his works and articles in Interior Architecture books, specialized press, official organisms and TV documentaries are proof of Tono Lledo´s high reputation as an Interior Designer and of the creativity and effectiveness of his projects.
