Already at the age of 13 Isabel López-Quesada, one of the top interior designers in Spain, discovered she had a special talent to decorate. Therefore, she made a decision to dedicate her life to creating beautiful spaces and opened her Madrid based studio in 1983 at the age of 20.
Today studio is working on major projects all around the world, in countries like France, Dominican Republic or the USA, as well as many in Spain. Isabel and her team have designed houses in the city and large country estates, corporate headquarters of major companies such as White & Case , IAG (Iberia and British Airways) as well as Spanish embassies in cities like Tokyo, Doha and Dakar.

Isabel’s style is very eclectic, mixing various trends, combining new contemporary style with touches of English chic or French country style. “A house, like a person, must combine tradition and modernity” – she says
Her studio in a two-story building hidden behind plant-covered garden walls is located on a one-way street in the Salamanca district. The showroom that belongs to the studio contains a fine collection of furniture and décor items, from linen-covered sofas and intricate Chinese lacquer work to ornate lampshades and original artwork.
All this has made Isabel López-Quesada and her studio stand out for over 30 years, with awards such as Architectural Digest Award for Best Interior in 2012.
